We are located in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, halfway between Richmond VA. and Raleigh NC.  We are part of Tar River District, East Carolina Council.

Hello and Welcome to Troop 146's Website!  Alright guys, this website is a good way for you all to know whats going on, so make sure you look at it a lot.  I will try to keep it updated as much as possible.  We now have many interesting things on the website including rosters, ways to contact the leaders, and their are even some forms on here now.  So sit down, look around, and if you have any ideas or questions, e-mail me.

This month is the official pulp and paper month!!! The month will be devoted to learning all about the process of making paper to help earn the pulp and paper merit badge. I hope that everyone makes the extra effort to participate this month, because by the end of the month, everyone who toured the paper mill will have completed pulp and paper merit badge. For anyone who did not go on the tour with the troop, there will be another chance later on...come to the meetings and talk to Ronnie Spence for more information.

I think we need to put something about recent Eagle Scouts on the troop webpage, therefore, I would like to take the time to congratulate Edward G. Edward recently earned his Eagle Scout Award and has done a great job. Way to go Ed, not only from me, but from the entire Troop!!!

Meetings are held every Tuesday night at Troop 146 Scouthut on the corner of Jefferson and 8th St. from 7:00-8:30p.m.

The next campout that the troop is taking has not yet been scheduled, however the recent yard sale went extremely well and we raised a lot of money for the backroom fund. Everyone just continue to help out with that and Eagle Projects, a campout is sure to follow!!!

CAMP MORATOCK
The troop will no longer be allowed to use camp moratock because it has been sold to the national parks system and they will be doing work to it. The leaders are working diligently to locate a new camp ground for the troop to use, in the mean time, just hang tight guys, we will be camping again very soon!!!
